That was “AI: made practical for you” in Berlin

AI from practice, for companies — that was “AI: made practical for you”. Together with Deutsche Bank AG we came together for the second time on 26 February 2025 in Berlin, Unter den Linden, with a great many users, experts and interested guests on the subject of AI. These were the highlights. PS: there is also a way to get hold of the presentations from the event.

AI experts and AI users, assemble

Theoretical foundations, practical use cases and new ways of applying AI, presented by genuine experts — at “AI: made practical for you” there really was something for everyone. In the magnificent setting of Unter den Linden at Deutsche Bank AG, interested guests and experts gathered to exchange views on AI.

Putting AI to work in companies today

Jobst von Heintze opened the day. With his talk on the value AI can already deliver for companies today, Jobst laid a solid foundation, both theoretical and practical, for the speakers who followed.

Jobst was followed by Sebastian Wellmann (Euromobil GmbH). He showed the audience how Euromobil uses AI to check and improve its workflows in aiio for accuracy and completeness. He also presented the results of the scan2aiio import — aiio's newest AI capability, which makes it possible to convert hundreds of PDF pages of organizational knowledge into process knowledge within minutes and import it straight into aiio.

After an intensive exchange among the participants, the session continued after the break with Lisa Brückner of ABB Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH. In her talk she took the audience on an AI-supported journey: from identifying the as-is processes actually lived at ABB through to harmonizing them with the procedures already documented — a fascinating look at how real practice and formal process documentation come together.

To close AI: made practical for you a special highlight awaited the participants: two distinguished experts on AI theory offered fascinating insights into research and development. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sebastian von Enzberg (Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Schlesinger (Berlin School of Economics and Law) discussed the state and the prospects of artificial intelligence in Germany together with our colleague Lars Bendler. Alongside current developments, the two professors also shared insights into their own research — an inspiring outlook for anyone interested in the theoretical foundations and the future of AI.

More from the event?

The consistently positive feedback shows it: every participant was able to deepen their AI expertise noticeably. Our warm thanks go to Deutsche Bank AG — for the excellent partnership, the elegant location and for helping shape an exceptional event.
